Holy cow the weather is going to be perfect this weekend (well as far as I can tell now) for the Talbot Street Art Fair. Not only is the Talbot Street Art Fair one of the best free events in Indianapolis that I look forward to, it is also ranked as one of the premier artistic venues in the Nation.
(I'm going to be taking my mom this weekend. Her wallet is already screaming at me from New Mexico.)
If you don't spend much time in the more residential areas of downtown Indianapolis you're going to fall in love. The area is already rich with little shops and restaurants so adding this family friendly (not to mention high quality) arts festival to downtown only adds to the experience.
While you're down there I'm going to let you in on a little secret that another friend let me in on.
Goose the Market is on the corner of 25th and Delaware and if you like Italian meats and sandwiches?
ENOUGH SAID. (Well, okay, if I have to say more Bon Apetit ranked Goose Market as the top sandwich joint in the nation.)
My daughter picked out chocolate gelato and I licked half of it all gone when she wasn't looking.
Shh! Don't tell.
