I'm going to give you full disclosure and tell you that I am a theater dork and Shakespeare lover at heart. My favorite Shakespeare plays are The Merchant of Venice (the pound of flesh one) and Much Ado About Nothing (the tricking people into falling in love one.)

Friday July 31 the Heartland Actors' Repertory Theater will be putting on one of my two favorites Much Ado About Nothing for free down at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis. 

Shakespeare was meant to be watched and enjoyed outside. Plus it's fantastic because when you bring your family along? There's no telling them to shoosh or SIT STILL! or QUIT RUNNING AROUND! because you're already outside.

With the show beginning at 8pm why not hit one of the dozens of restaurants Indianapolis  has to offer since your show is already free? Some of my favorites to bring my Daugherty along to include The Spaghetti Factory, Scotty's Brewhouse and Jillian's (although you may never make it out of Jillian's in time for the show.)
