This Saturday evening pack together the makings of the perfect picnic and head down to Celebration Amphitheater at White River State Park in downtown Indianapolis for a free community performance performed by Indy's contemporary dance group, Dance Kaleidoscope. The free concerts and events in White River State park are among the best free things to do in Indianapolis. Brought together by dedicated artists and generous grants this performance from Dance Kaleidoscope will involved the whole family, teaching simple, basic theories behind dance, movement and performance.

There will even be an opportunity for children to become involved both before the show with Bongo Boy Music's Drumming Circle and during the opening of the actual dance performance.

Ending the evening will be two full performances by the Dance Kaleidoscope troupe, one performed to the music of Cole Porter and the other to Duke Ellington (swoon.)

Food will be available for purchase and parking is available either a short walk from downtown or from the zoo. (*ahem* you could try to park at White River State Park but, well. My husband doesn't do well behind the wheel in crowded situations. I'll just say that.)
