After seeing the changes that the Indianapolis Children's Museum has gone under in my three years living here I am really excited about the new companion exhibit that runs along with the King Tut exhibit called Take me There: Egypt. While the actual King Tut exhibit may be a little too boring (sorry) for toddlers, the all new exhibit about life in Egypt is perfectly designed with little people in mind.

There is Egyptian clothing to wear, a Nile Crocodile to ride, a coffee house where you can pretend to serve or be served, an Egyptian open air market and even an Egyptian home with episodes of Sesame Street running in Egyptian. There's also a full size airplane cabin you can ride to or from Egypt.

The exhibit is well laid out and well planned out. It takes all of the great features from the previous travel exhibit and adds to it. It is hands on, interactive and educational.

The Take me There: Egypt exhibit is included in regular museum admission.
