Go Blue!Downtown Indianapolis is a sea of blue today! As is tradition throughout football season, the Friday before a home Colts game is Blue Friday. In our office we celebrate by wearing our Colts jerseys and this morning enjoyed blueberry filled donuts and coffee from the Dunkin' Donuts across tBlue Friday in Indyhe street.Yum!!

And Monument Circle was a festival scene, complete with a stage and live band, a giant inflatable football player, give aways and a traveling Colts Pro shop - just in case you need to pick up your #21 Bob Sanders jersey [hint, hint].

So this Sunday is the Colts season opener: Colts vs.Bears at Lucas Oil Stadium. A Super Bowl XLI rematch. [Which we won. Ahem.] Or is it a preview of the 2012 Super Bowl in Indianapolis? Either way - it's on our brand new home turf. Super Bowl XLI champs. And a wide open retractable roof.I attended the pre season match up between the Colts and Bengals and let me tell you - Lucas Oil Stadium definitely gives the wow factor. I mean - Wow!!

One step inside and the magnitude of this space hits you. The Wide. Open. Space. This is definitely the home for Colts football. But it's also a home for NCAA basketball. Wide. Open. SpaceAnd for concerts. And for the DCI World Championships. And for mega tradeshows. And for meetings. Whew - that's one busy place! In fact, the majority of days the stadium will be in use, aren't for football at all. When the expansion of the Indiana Convention Center is complete in 2010, the center and stadium will be connected via a covered, partially underground walkway. So it will be easy for convention attendees and visiting journalists to make their way around the space.

Very cool.
