Did anyone catch Inside Indiana Business over the weekend? [It airs every Friday night on WFYI and every Sunday morning on WISH.]
A quick synopsis of last weekend's show:
In a series called Downtown IN Depth, host Gerry Dick explores issues facing the Indianapolis business community. This weekend was the #3 in a 4-part series and the topic of discussion: Lucas Oil Stadium. By now we've seen the pictures and heard the reviews, and many have been inside to experience the stadium as a football house. But in this Downtown IN Depth segment, Gerry Dick delves into how this facility propels Indianapolis to a new level among competitive convention cities. And for many restaurant owners, hoteliers and downtown businesses, the stadium and Indy's convention industry, truly equals out to dollars and a lot of sense.
I often hear from people that I have a cool job - working for an organization so tied in with things happening in Indy. And I agree, I do have a cool job. And something that makes my job even cooler - being reminded that the work we do, really does have an impact on the work a lot of others do.
So on with the show. Check it out here. [And also catch up on the 1st & 2nd quarter reports.]
